Viewzi

Viewzi is a search engine, which allows you to display the search results in multiple ways: Web Screenshot View, Simple Text View, Site Information View, Timeline View, 4 Sources View, Photo Cloud View and way more other views. The nice thing of searching with Viewzi is that the results are more well-organized and searching becomes more fun. Also with views like the Web Screenshot View, or the Everyday Shopping View you can already see some of the website without even clicking on the link to it.

A web-based operating system

EyeOS is a web-based open-source operating system. It's free to use and you don't need to download anything. One of the benefits of such a web-based operating system is that you can access your desktop from every computer with a web-browser and an internet-connection. EyeOS has a lot of online applications built-in: two text-editors (one for .doc and one for .txt), an e-mailprogram, a FTP-Program, a calender, some games, a calculator, a feed-reader and a lot more. ManyCam

ManyCam is a free program, which you can use to add cool effects to your webcam. You can find a demovideo of the program here. You can download the program for free here.

WinFlip

One of the nice things of Windows Aero is the Aero Flip 3D program, which makes it possible to switch between different windows like on this screenshot. But you don't need to have Vista to have programs like Aero Flip 3D. You can download WinFlip for free here instead. WinFlip is a program, which will pretty much do the same as Aero Flip 3D does. And you don't need Windows Vista to run the program, it'll also work on Windows XP! Below a screenshot of the program:

Six degrees of Wikipedia

You probably know the six degrees of separation, but did you know about the six degrees of Wikipedia? On this website you can find the shortest path between two articles on Wikipedia. By example, you can find the shortest path between Microsoft and failure. After you've clicked "Go", it'll find the shortest path between those two articles.

OpenLieroX

OpenLieroX is a free open-source worms shoot-em-up game. It'll work on pretty much any operating system, including Mac OS, Windows and Linux. You can download it here. The download is coming with over 60 different levels and also has a multiplayer in it.

GameMaker

Would you like to make your own games for free? Then you will be interested in GameMaker. With GameMaker you can create your own games easily. It's even possibly to create games in 3D. You can download GameMaker here for free. Registering an account is not needed.

Dumpr

On dumpr.net you can add all kinds of cool effects to your pictures. Most of the effects are free, but some require you to register a pro-account. You can upload a picture from your computer to add an effect on, or you can upload the picture from Flickr. After you've added your effect to the picture, you can download it, send it as an e-mail or upload it to Flickr. Registering an account is possible, but not needed.

CommunityWalk

Would you like to create your own map, easy and for free? Then you probably like CommunityWalk. On communitywalk.com you can create your own Google Maps and embed them in your own website. You can also include photos or videos in your map. Registering is not required, but optional. Below the result of my experiment:

MidiJam

MidiJam is a free program which will play your MIDI-files. Besides that it plays the music in the MIDI-file, it also shows you the instruments in 3D, like your watching a real concert. You can download MidiJam here.

ReactOS

Do you want a free Windows-compatible OS? Than ReactOS is what you're looking for. The operating system even looks like Windows (98/2000)! You can download ReactOS for a Live CD or a complete installation-CD.

MediaFire

Do you want an unlimited amount of free webspace for free? Than you need to go to www.mediafire.com. Here you can upload an unlimited amount of files for free. The maximum size per file maybe 100 MB. You don't even have to register and if you do want to, this goes really quickly.

TypeRacer

Do you think you can type real fast? Do you want to compete against your friends in typing? It's possible on typeracer.com. On this website you can decide to train or immediately compete against others. You can also invite a friend to compete against him.

Magnigraph

Did you ever had an image, which existed from multiple colors, but you wanted it to just be one color? This is what magnigraph does. Go to http://www.magnigraph.com and you’ll get a summary of all last created onecolored images. If you want to make such an image yourself, you need to scroll down and type in a location of an image on you hard drive or you can type in a URL of an image. Next, you need to press “Go” and your onecolored imag is created.

FontStruct

Do you like fonts? And would you like to make your own fonts? It’s possible with the web-based font-creator: FontStruct. As soon as you arrive on the website (http://fontstruct.fontshop.com), you first need to register an account. After this you must click on the tab FontStructor. On this page you can create your font. If you’ve finished creating your font, you can download it by clicking “Download”. After you’ve downloaded the TrueType-file, you must place it in "C:\WINDOWS\Fonts" before you can use it.
